Analogue

Spring 2020, I bought my first film camera: a Yashica FR whose worn foams, I would find out the hard way, let in light and ruined my first efforts.

Far from being discouraged, fascinated by the film process, I acquired another rangefinder film camera that worked perfectly and set me off on the adventure. For an entire year, I shot nothing more than film and thrived technically and creatively in this unique process. 35mm, medium format, in-house scan & development, I discovered that the possibilities of film photography extended to infinity and definitely fall in love with the medium that was at the origin of photography.

This year of experimentation leaves behind a collection of photographs free from all pretensions, testifying only of my personal development as a photographer.
